SkyBridge Capital, the Anthony Scaramucci-led global investment firm, and the Al Maskari family’s holding company have announced a partnership with blockchain software company Casper Labs. The two firms will provide strategic support for the enterprise-grade blockchain services provider – such as business development, investor relations and marketing services – with SkyBridge also becoming a shareholder by acquiring warrants.
Casper’s Enterprise-Grade Technology
Casper Labs has built an enterprise-grade layer 1 blockchain that offers transaction transparency aimed at helping businesses boost revenue at a relatively low cost. Every design decision made by the firm is tailored towards enterprise and government usage, providing an efficient decentralization model for cloud computing applications as well as financial services.
Crypto Winter & Investment Trends
The investment comes during a particularly harsh crypto winter which saw venture capital investments in the industry drop 91% year on year in January 2021 despite infrastructure projects remaining relatively strong. Despite this trend, big name partners are singling out Casper Lab’s technology as being particularly promising for long term adoption of blockchain technology within enterprises and governments worldwide.

In addition to partnering up with Skybridge Capital and Al Maskari Holding, Casper recently announced a tie up with Google Cloud which could further bolster its credibility among large companies looking to utilize its technology solutions.
